an Interview with an Austin resident

The interview with George who is citizen of Austin.

Who must uses the internet the most and why?
Anyone who feels responsible enough to use the internet (in practicality everybody who has access to the internet)

What problems do you think the internet creates?
The problem with internet is the indolence and apathy of modern society.  Strive for a different education with more exposure to real life activities seems to have greatly decreased. The access to the internet has also led to large amounts of plagiarism. The amount of knowledge over the internet is leading students to “copy and paste” information, never really teaching any material.

What problems does the internet solve?
The internet has allowed society to access a vast amount of knowledge in seconds, even at the touch of their fingertips in today’s modern age. For those with eager minds and a drive for knowledge, the internet is a wonderful tool.

Why is it a good idea to have books or magazines published on the internet?
The internet is a growing tool amongst society today allowing a vast amount of access to anybody, as opposed to books and magazines. The internet will likely never go away. The knowledge and information placed on the internet will never move, never facing problems like tangible items. The information will never go away.

What is the most important feature of the internet?
Its accessibility would be the biggest feature. Anybody with motivation will have the opportunity to access the internet with ease.

Would you like to go on a date with someone you meet on the internet?
No, although the internet is a wonderful tool, the cons would be the deceptions of people that abuse the internet. One will never truly understand what they may or may not be getting into in such situation. Granted it varies between people and the amount of trust and willingness one may have, a more cautious person such as myself would not.

In the future, should the internet be far away from our lives or closer than it is now?

Neither. I think the internet is fine at a level that it is. Pushing it further away would be pushing away a great tool and future opportunity. But with incautious planning letting it in closer could result in further complications in today’s world.

A Place in Austin

Austin, Texas is full of many delicious restaurants. My favorite is Home slice Pizza. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing. One time, my friends and I went there and ate two pizzas and drank cook. It was one of the most fun time that I have had in Austin, Texas. Maybe because I was so hungry. Moreover we met there some American guys. Sometimes we meet up and go there to eat some delicious pizza. Every time I see Home slice Pizza, I become very happy and remember that night. My one wish is that everyone in Austin, Texas will visit this amazing restaurant. They should open a Home slice Pizza in Turkey. That would be great.

I was born in this city in 1990 and I have been raised there. Most of my relatives and friends are there. During my life in Ankara, I had a beautiful time.

Although this city seems much official, you can find many things to do. I want to tell something about my favorite places in Ankara.

When you visit Ankara, not only sightsee the city, but also try to meet people of it. People are very hospitable and friendly. Sometimes, saying hello “merhaba” is enough them to serve you some tea.

What’s more, if you find a chance to visit this city, you will never regret.
